Qualified Attorneys - Lead Counsel Program
Searching for a qualified attorney or law firm? Look no further. Lawinfo.com, Inc. developed its Lead Counsel Program in 1996 as a simple, convenient, and most of all, reliable way for the public to easily find the most suitable and qualified attorneys, in the shortest amount of time. You can think of the Lead Counsel Program as an extra measure of "Quality Assurance" during your attorney selection process. We do the preliminary research for you so that you are better prepared to make an educated decision. Qualified Lawyers must meet the criteria before earning the right to use the Lead Counsel Designation.
For an attorney to become a member and earn the Lead Counsel designation, they must receive multiple peer recommendations advocating his or her inclusion into the program. This is a key component in our screening and selection process. We verify every Lead Counsel candidate's application, and check all references. Additionally, LawInfo contacts the state bar to make sure there have never been disciplinary sanctions taken against the applicant.
Listings are exclusive and limited to only four panel positions per practice area and area code combination. This helps to support our primary purpose to present the best qualified attorneys and law firms in all geographic locations.
Should LawInfo discover disciplinary sanctions, the applicant does not receive Lead Counsel Member designation.
Many Lead Counsel Member attorneys hold official positions in renowned legal organizations and occupy positions on established professional boards. Additionally, many have won awards, authored articles and books, been recognized by their Bar Associations, and have played, and continue to play important roles in their communities.
Once you conduct your search for a lawyer, call or email your selected lawyer immediately. You also have the option to conduct more research by linking directly to the lawyer's Web site right from our search results and attorney database.
The Lead Counsel Program is dedicated to providing the public with a viable source from which to find pre-screened qualified attorneys and to providing a system that distinguishes those attorneys easily, eliminating the intimidating process of trying to find a reputable, qualified lawyer among a list of yellow page ads and unremarkable, Internet lawyer databases. The Lead Counsel Program is not an attorney referral service. It is a program that allows all attorneys to apply, free of charge and allows visitors to verify and find attorneys, also free of charge.
